For your information The Notts wildlife trust will be leading a work party on Sunday 20th November 10:00 til 15:00 behind Whitcliff Gardens on the Green line in West Bridgford. Some of the Friends of Sharphill Wood will also be supporting , if you would like to take part, just turn up on the day or telephone Gary Cragg NWT on 01159588242 for more information. Please make sure you where appropriate footwear and clothing on the day, also bring a packed lunch and drinks if you are staying all day.

The weather was shocking today, very wet and muddy, but fortunately not windy. It was a big work party today, which was good, as the nesting season will soon start and we will have to be a lot more careful about disturbing hedges, trees and bushes.
